The officer I met when upon arrival on Saturday happened to be a Chelsea fan. Here's our conversation...
Officer: " Are you here on business or pleasure?"
Me: " On holiday, watching football games."
Officer: "Nice, which team?"
Me: "Chelsea, the European Champions."
Officer:" Ok, you can go now. fast clearance for Chelsea fans. Ha..."
He was joking and continued checking my documents.
Officer:" Watch the game against Man U? Torres shouldn't have been sent off."
Me:" Yeah. the ref was Man of the Match."
We both laughed and I was cleared.
Best experience with a UK customs officer. (Lucky not an Arsenal fan!)
