Fantastic Comeback Win!

After the disappointing draw at Birmingham last weekend, Chelsea finally won last night in the west London derby. The Blues came back from a goal down to win 2-1 to the unlucky cottagers.
I was shocked when Chelsea conceded the first goal in only the third win and thought the team would be fighting for a draw again like the previous few matches. The defending was sloppy and I think the coach made a mistake by playing right back Fereirra. His passing was lousy and looked so rusty on the field.

Ancellotti should have took the right back off earlier and it showed when Drogba scored once Fereirra was replaced by Ivanovic. His pass from the right side of the field was perfect for Drogba to head in the equaliser.

The young Sturridge had a good game and I felt that he controlled the ball well through the game. Chelsea is lucky that his pass resulted in Fulham's own goal to give Chelsea the win.

Chelsea is lucky but the team can't possibly rely on own goals to win points. Hopefully the win will be the start of a good run of games to extend the lead at the top of the table.

Great that Chelsea goes into 2010 as league leaders.
