I was hoping that Chelsea would take advantage of Man U's loss against Fulham and extend their lead at the top of the table to 6 points. Unfortunately, the Blues could only manage a 1-1 draw. The defence has been leaking goals since the win over Arsenal.
Like the Portsmouth game, I think Chelsea was lucky to win. West Ham scored in the first half from a penalty to give them the lead. Chelsea only levelled after the break with a penalty too. However, the penalty was counted after 3 attempts. I've never seen such a situation before. Maybe the kelong referee didn't want Chelsea to win and ordered Lampard to retake 3 times. How I wish all the penalties stood, then it'll be 3-1 to the Blues!
