It was a lucky night for Chelsea. The team played really well and dominated the game. Ballack scored with a great header to give the blues the lead before half time. Unfortunately, Rooney equalised shortly after the break. I thought the game will end in a draw until Chelsea won a controversial penalty which Ballack converted.
It was heartwarming to see the team dedicate their first goal to Lampard's mum. Hope Lampard will return soon to help Chelsea win the title.
There was a point during the game when Ballack and Drogba fought over who to take a free kick. I thought it was really childish of them to behave like that. Luckily it did not affect the overall morale of the team. Grant should have done something to stop them.
On the whole, it was a good performance from the team. Hope they'll build on this victory and win the title back from Man U.
