I think I've been to optimistic in my predictions on Chelsea's chances. The blues could not break the stubborn Spurs defence last night. The team started well in the first half when Beletti scored from Deco's corner. Coincidently both of them were team mates in Barca when they won the Champions League. It was also Beletti's first start of the season.
Spurs managed to capitalise on Lampard's mistake when he made a wrong pass. Darren Bent managed to snatch the ball to equalise. After that Lampard, Anelka, Essian all missed good chances. 2 points lost.
I dozed off at certain parts of the game. Fortunately, Liverpool drew with Aston Villa. At least Chelsea still occupy first position at the moment.
