It was predicted by the media that Chelsea would have a difficult time overcoming Boro as the blues have many first team players injured. However the blues silenced the critics with a goal feast. It has been some time since the blues won by such a huge margin away from home.
Kalou opened the account in the first half, followed by 4 more goals in the second. Kalou got a second with Malouda, Lampard, Belletti on the score sheet as well. Belleti long range goal was most probably the best goal of the afternoon and I think it is a contender for the goal of the season.
With Liverpool's win at the same weekend, Chelsea is tied with points with the Reds at the top of the EPL. Both teams would face each other come this weekend and I'm sure looking forward to it!
