Chelsea trashed Sunderland last night 5-0. Goals from Lampard, Alex and a hat trick by Anelka sealed the win. Liverpool lost to Tottenham too which puts the blues on top of the table.
The Blues were three goals up by half time, the two goals after the break just added to the black cats' misery. The result would be worse if the blues did not slow down in the last twenty minutes. The blues were just keeping possession, probably not to embarass the visitors further.
Hope that Chelsea can keep up this form and keep thrashing their oppenents.
