The Blues redeemed themselves from their poor mid week performance in the UCL with a 2 - 0 win over Blackburn Rovers. A brace by Anelka was enough to get 3 points, a perfect present for Scolari. Though I did not watch the full match, I was fortunate not to miss the 2 goals. It was a good performance by the Blues as the team created numerous scoring chances. The team did not let the bad weather affect their performance.
It is great that Chelsea has a far superior goal difference over Liverpool, who thrashed WBA in another match. If the 2 teams keep the current form, it will become a 2 horse race for the title.
